Hi Martin

Sat right here watching this thread ...nice choice of busts , good start with the flesh and helmet

Look forward to seeing more on this

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our June's FOTM comp and also vote in May's classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Oh, very nice. You are doing a splendid job of the the paint work, the skintones are superb.. I just think the sculpt has made him a little bit to "well fed" to be a para... lol

Wow, that camo looks absolutely superb. You've nailed the 'overlapping brushstrokes' perfectly. Fantastic work.

Hi Martin

As usual the camo is coming out rally well , you certainly have a knack with this

I would add a set of wings to the right shoulder

Look forward to more

Thanks for sharing

Are you sure that's not real rope.... outstanding in every way, the texture of the rope and webbing is superb.

I'm in two minds about the wings. Officially no badges or rank insignia were allowed on the smock, but (as usual in almost any army..lol) that regulation was widely ignored. Photographic evidence shows that either no markings were fixed at all, as well as a wide variety of wings, airborne shoulder banners, pegasus badges, rank insignia, either would be right, but to keep in scale, you need to sculpt the wings with putty, as just painting them on won't give the effect of a sewn on patch..
