Completed 1st Kings Royal Rifle Corps 1914.

A slight conversion of Tommy's War fig. TW54oo1. My figure represents a Private of the 1st Battalion KRRC.
On 13 August 1914 they landed at Rouen and as part of the 2nd Division they took part in the Battle of Mons and the subsequent retreat.

Thank you Keith, the idea of basing them together did cross my mind but not until after the Gordon Highlander was securely attached. The next brace of TW figs. may well be based together though.

I don't know what is with my photo's, perhaps it's my eyes but quite a few people say they look dark but to me they look ok, then again I might just paint dark figures .
