Hello all

I finished this figure today. A US marine during the battle of Guadalcanal 1942/1943.
A small conversion of an the Bodi resin figure in scale 1:35.
Painted with Humbrols.

Thanks for watching.
regards,
Robert Jan

Hi!
Very nice work indeed.
The groundwork helps a lot in giving a notion of the soldier's location.

Hi Robert

Such a simple figure , effective and very well painted , nice weathering , like the contrast on the clothing and the Basework

Always good to see your artwork

Why not enter something in the class of your choice in FOTM , don't forget we also have the Vignette & Diorama comp , please take the time to consider and also do vote as well

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next thread

Happy benchtime

Everything Nap said. Looks a bit clean for Guadalcanal to me (maybe they had a good laundry:)) but beautifully painted and staged. Great how you've made such a potentially drab figure come alive.

I am now working on an Nicaragua contra figure. Hope to show you some results soon.
