A Fixture
In 1/35th. . . Wow, impressive
Hey Carl:
Well, done my friend. As per usual I'm running late again, and am on the tail
end of this thread. Wow, you must have really young eyes. The details in
this little gem of a scene are so impressive. your rendering of the faces,
the hair, the, skin tones, etc. are so well done. I'll never get there but I can
sure enjoy looking at the work you produce. My guess is that your vignette
would have been the top winner as a vignette in the 5 figures
and less vignette category for the figures categories, at the
IPMS/USA National Convention last weekend in Omaha, Nebraska.
I only have one comment in regards to something I might change. And it is
just a matter of my personal taste. You know I speak of colour harmony so
much of the time here on PF. I would like to see some of those other earth
tones painted in light washes (filters?) on more of the bluish cobblestone
base. But of course, that relates to my personal taste only. I don't see your
base colour as being wrong, you understand.
