Hi friends, here are 2 new projects that are now ready for some colors :)
Old Barbarian from Black Sun Miniatures, 75mm, resin (i modified the hammer to give more balance) and Zeus from Alexandros Models, 80mm, white metal (still hate this stuff).
Now the problem : which one to start first ?
Barbarian and Zeus bases are scratched and for the most sculpted in super sculpey.

I agree with you about white metal ,I don’t touch the stuff any more . Black sun miniatures have some really nice figures ,look forward to seeing your progress

yes Black Sun offers very good figures and their quality is fantastic ! almost no clean-up to do on this barbarian !

I think you have two excellent pieces ready to paint Franck. I'm curious as to what you don't like about white metal. For me personally; I like the extra bit of weight and I actually like the process of pinning and getting the parts to fit properly in prep for paint. What I don't like is that I still have trouble getting good adhesion with primer and paint and I'm not talking about anything major just little nicks here and there. All that being said; If I had my option of the same piece in both resin and metal and all the detail being equal I would probably take the resin.
:)Just some extra BS you probably don't want to hear.......Look forward to your progress...

Hey Wayne :)
What i don't like is exactly what you like : extra weight, pinning etc.
All in all it's a hobby and each other has to find its pleasure :)
All the best mate !
