A great figure Graham,
Great detail and a very nice casting. Is it possible to se the rear view and sword detail of this piece.
I really like this one.
Cheers,
Keith

Congratulations on this one Graham. I saw it at euro and had to get one. It's a real beauty and superbly cast as well as a fantastic subject matter.
A real 'must buy' figure.
Gordon

Many thanks to you all
Hi Keith, I am taking some more pictures later today and will post of the rear and sword
Very best wishes
Graham

Wonderful work Graham

I received the new resin casting of the old 100mm 28th. Foot Waterloo figure from CGS and comparing to the older original metal castings from Grieve, these are noticeably crisper and with NO cleanup needed anywhere.....and the large detailed painting reference sheets is a wonderful and helpful extra.

I viewed this at Euro and very nice it is too, great detail, great pose and very well casted as were all Graham's David Grieve figures, I reckon a few model producers out there should take note of the great standard of casting that CGS have come up with, it should be the benchmark for all model kits, I think CGS are going to be a model company to watch in the future.

Cheers
Jim
P.S Good meeting you Graham at Euro and just seen that somebody has beaten me to doing the
Von Blucher review...Bugger!

Bought this figure at the recent Euro & is superb, it is made even better because Graham wore the uniform depicted and knows what is should look like.
Highly recomended if HM bands or ceremonial uniforms are your thing.
Looking forward to future releases from Graham.

Cracking figure Graham!

GCS has become well and truly established in the figure world.

Great to meet you and Bob at Euro, looking forward to another pint!

All the best,
Jon.

Many thanks for the comments and support, it too was a pleasure for Dad and I to meet you at Euro and thank you for such a nice welcome.
As promised here are the pictures of the rear of the figure and sword details.
very best wishes
Graham and Bob

Saw this figure at Euro and it is simply wonderful. The casting and sculpting were superb, no flash or lines the figure is so smooth, perfect. Was a fan of David Greives in the day but these sculpts are if anything better.
Met Graham's dad at the stand and I am sure he could sell anything to anyone, very nice chap.

Don

Thank you Don for your kind words, and thank you to all the lovely people I met at Euro Militaire, and the good time that you gave to Graham and myself, Bob. I did nt know any of you, but you all went out of your way to make us feel welcome and one of the gang. Really looking forward to a repeat visit next year, we ve booked hotel before we left. Take care everyone, and best wishes to you all. Off for some marketing tuition from Dell Boy now. Kindest Regards Bob and Graham.

Hi all,
As mentioned to a few friends at Euro this figure was also designed as a painted and bronze presentation piece for my RM collegues and former RM and collectors.
I have some lovely pictures to follow by Gordon ( Grod-Mitches Military Models ta mate)

This is just a test bronze and any advice is welcome.
This will be exclusive ( bronze and painted) to CGS and also via MMM.

Thank you for the back view photos Graham.
The detail here is absolutly stunning. As a former RM Drum Major you have captured small points that others have either missed or skipped over.
Fantastic work and I am sure it is a winner for you.
Cheers,
Keith
