My great uncle was one of the Accrington Pals & he died in the first couple of days of the battle. I've thought for some time of painting up a figure of a soldier of the Accrington Pals and this might just be ideal. He is the shown in the 3rd photograph on this page, Harry "kid" Nutter;

Thanks Ross, please understand it's not a criticism, simply an observation. Given Moz's expertise as a sculptor, I'm confident the helmet is accurate and well-researched.

find the memorial which this figure was based on, I think the likeness is pretty accurate.
