Hello All:

I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be in sculpting or in painting. I used Mike Best's wonderful 200mm Richtofen bust from the early 1990s and made him into a complete figure. Clothes hangers were used as the body and two-part A&B putty was used for the actual "sculpt". I modified the nose and widened his cheeks a bit on the face. Hope you enjoy.

Hi Mike and Dave!

A nice one, I was looking at my bust I have just the other day. Not painted yet though. I bought the Dragon kit mostly for this bust.

Wasnt there a Eddie Rickenbacker bust as well?
Is that still available?

Cheers

Thanks all for the comments. Uruk-Hai: There were three other busts put into production for Dragon by Mike Good; Eddie Rickenbacker, Ernst Udet and Hans Goerth. You can still find the plane kits with the busts every once in a while on e-bay. Noel: Thanks, it means a lot.

Dave I was thinking about "completing" Richthofen and Udet for years!

And you do it (y) . Very nice result.

I love it.
