That is so impressive, have tried doing ( and failed) multicam myself...... Love it.

Thanks for the kind words, it was a real challenge due to the size of this guy, Tony I saw your version a while back, you did a great job, much better than mine:)
Thanks rob, I'm currently doing the 120mm afghan sniper in MTP, I'm a glutten for punishment!!
Hey Marc I can't wait to see what you do, is there any chance of some progress shots?

Cheers guys

Gonna take some shots tonight. He is almost finished. Some dullcoat on it and it is done.
Maybe fiddeling around some spots but that can after the pictures.
It is my first camo so be generous then.

Tony thanks, modesty is the best policy! Haha!
That US airborne figure is another cracker by Moz, the pose is spot on, that 30 looks heavy!! hope to see him on PF soon.

Cheers

Best Version of this i have seen - really magic - some evocative groundwork will really bring out your hard work the MTP is spot on - sincere congrats
And as for the pics we aint all photo facists on pf

Cheers Chris, thanks for the great comments, I was thinking about the ground work, and I really don't know what direction to take it in, my first thought was more of an urban setting after a hypothetical rescue mission, but I can't think how to relate it to afghan, any ideas throw em my way!

Cheers!

Erm , maybe a taliban / afghan compound wall as background - hard baked mud (so hard 30mmm struggles to penetrate sometimes ) and straw roughly plastered and washed white but heavily weathered,if you were respresenting the snatch of a high value target from the green zone near the helmand river you could get away with long grass / reeds trees etc near to the wall this would complemnt your excelllent MTP- google some compound pics and see what you think - iam orderedings mozs sniper and javelin gunner - they will be placed in a compound setting for sure

for compound walls I would use styrene packaing covered in a cheap model clay , its up to the individual but after the work you put into these fellas good evicative ground work just finishes it thats whY there iS 5 kg of rock on my 200mm Moz 3 Para figure on v BENCH iwant to set him on mount longon and i think I caught the look of the place

either way best of luck and ace MTP(y)

Cheers guys thanks for the ideas im thinking maybe a gate to a compound as a central focus, it'll have to be huge though, a few rocks and dried grass, maybe an Arabic slogan on the wall/gate for interest, got some great pics off google, I better get cracking!!

Cheers chaps!!!
