Hi, everyone.
We're trying something new at the next Atlanta Show in Feb 2011. We wanted to do a seminar that was interactive and not limited to a single hobby related topic. We came up with the idea of a panel discussion format. Our panel will be comprised of experienced and well known figure artists with specialties in oil painting, acrylics, sculpting, vignettes, conversions, groundwork, Historex, dioramas, etc. These are folks who are tops in their fields and each brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. Not only do we wish to promote good discussion on specific modeling issues, but each panel member also brings experience in other, less heard from areas of the hobby such as judging and figure manufacturing. There have been several threads I've followed recently here and on other forum sites about judging, style, judging bias, etc that I think are all worthy topics and deserving of some good conversation. All of this is with the intention of increasing knowledge across the hobby.
Keep your eyes and ears open to AMFS website updates on this seminar and other events happening at the next Atlanta Show.

The panel discussion seminar is tentatively scheduled for late Saturday afternoon (4pm-ish). I hope to see you all there. Please come with your questions ready.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
