Thanx guys... too kind.
If scratch sculpts count as double then that puts Colin Sr (crf) well into double digits with 4, that's right 4, scratch sculpted busts (one with 2 heads;) grrr-ruff)
Looks to me like everyone has had a good year... Some beautiful work shown here by all

Come on lets see some more!

Colin Jr

Here's my efforts for 2013, I've had a more productive year than I've had in many years....well completed figures anyway.
So many figures, So little time!!
I've found them all to be very satisfying and enjoyable. And I'm very happy to say I still feel motivated to continue with many more new and partially finished figures into 2014.
I'm doing more 2d canvas painting as well these days and some figures next year will alternate between other projects.

Hasn't been an overwhelming year production-wise for me... but there were some firsts:
Namely, my first bust and my first scratch sculpt (Lemmy) and second sculpt (Jeff Hanneman) and my first multi figure WWII dio (Dieppe).

Lemmy and the Roman/Germanic vignette (sorry I don't have a pic of the completed piece with the shields) recieved bronzes at IPMS Ajax and I got an overall bronze at the Ontario Model Soldier Society show at Fort York. There are a couple of WIP figs and the beginnings of a large, scratchbuilt/conversion diorama that won't be finished before year's end.

Cheers

Colin

I love these threads at the end of the year!
So much lovely work!
Very impressive!

:)

I have been a bit worried that my productivity has dropped off a bit this year, work and life getting in the way and such.
I was surprised how much I actually got done :)
Apologies for the box art shots, they are just much easier to find than the date stamped originals .... :/

In no order at all :)

Hi Mark,

What an amazing body of work for one year. Consistently brilliant painting mate. Your painting style is instantly recognisable and has come to define the look and feel of the Stormtroopers range of figures. Great work mate. Can't wait to see what you do next year.
