Hi,

excellent sculpt and as the others say great character in this figure. Good choice of pose and facial expression. Weapons are very nice as are the clothing details.

Finish is a bit rough though. I don't know what putty was used for this but perhaps you should also try kneadatite/green stuff some time. It's a material with a learning curve but when you've learned to control I find it it's much easier to create a smooth finish on organic areas at 28mm scale. Her is an Indian in 28mm scale (true 28, not heroic 28) by Gael, a French sculptor, who works in greens stuff:

It's for a range mostly aimed at (demanding) collectors and painters, not gamers.

Here is one figure by me in GS. Not that good as Gael's but it does show what I mean with smoothness.

[EDIT] Had another look at the pics and it could be it's just the picture since your sculpt looks more smooth in the first pics)

Thanks Ming-Hua, has looked at your works - likely I have in vain shown the . Your miniatures are magnificent! Is to what to aspire! Yours faithfully. And I did the small figures from Magik Skulp, in the very first photo (without a head) it is visible as the surface - smooth as glass shines. Such rough surface has turned out from an old first coat - I shall not use it any more. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the compliments, but I'm not nearly as good as either Gael or Tom. They are the masters.

Anyway, now I understand the difference in finish. It was a bit puzzling. Magic sculp is quite good for 28 miniatures by the way. Slightly different technique but the same quality of miniatures can be made. Here is the site of Masquerade miniatures:
http://www.masq-mini.de/ Many of the figures sculpted by Stefan were done in Magic sculp or Tamiya putty. And as you see they are quite good.

So, when will we see the other figures? Edit - Just found the other thread. Nice fiures too there.
