This has been a joy to paint and I am pleased with the outcome. I have depicted these the day after The Battle of Quatre Bras. Relief that they survived, hopefully, is shown in the faces.
Little additions , sword knots to each sword hilt and the drummers sword shortened, pocket added to the rear of the drummers jacket.
Thank you for stopping by and looking in.
Regards.

Lovely pair Bob (ooh, er, mrs) ;)

I'd have liked to see a touch of dust or dirt on the lower parts, but given the crispness of the painting I'd understand why you've chosen to keep the clean look. (Wish I could paint half as well)

Thank you very much for the comments, they are really very much appreciated, every one of them.
Paul. They will be dirty, I forgot that part of the groundwork.

Chrisr. I cannot remember what the grasses are called (I brought then years ago) but they are used for fly making for fly fishing.

Nap . I promise to bring them along to BC

well done Bob !
these were great figs to paint weren'they ? ;)

Thank you for the compliment Marco, it is very much appreciated as I admire your work.
These are wonderful figures and when painted, come to life. I still have another Drummer to paint but that will be left for another day.
