Chezzie, Great job on the 28th Regiment of Foot Drummer. Man, you really did a nice job on the yellow coat! This is one of my favorite releases of a drummer boy. Appreciate your efforts and sharing your work!(y) Have an awesome New Year!

All of the above with the addition of the brass protectors on the hoops.
A great little addition missed by many.
If I would change any one thing; the white line on the hoops would be the same colour as the drumhead. This is the rim of the drum head that tightens the head and is the same skin as the playing surface.
That said it will not detract from an excellent place Mark .
Well done
Keith

Have you any photos at all mate?

Here is a small 1/10 scale piece that I scratch built.
The drum at the time was rolled wood held together with domed brass nails in a pattern.
You will also see the gut snares but not the brass hoop protectors that you put on your drum.
I have a drum that I refurbished but I have not got any photographs at the moment.
I will get some for you tomorrow.
Cheers
Keith

Photos of the refurbished would be perfect please?

The pic above is of the Coldstream drum is the referbed drum, now converted to a table.
Musically I started as a trumpeter in the scouts through to directing marching bands. Although I scored music for drums of all shapes and sizes I have never actually played/banged a drum.
All the best
Keith

In that case commendable. My grandad was a drum sgt and carried on as a professional drummer for the likes of Tom Jones etc afternrhe big band era. I played when I was younger before joining up but was on the Queens Colour Squadron not in a band
