Hi guys, I want to present you my latest work released to coincide with the D-day anniversary.
This is the last boxart I painted for The Bodi Miniatures in 1/35 scale.
The beautiful sculpture is the Stefano "the Lebanese" d'Antonio work.
The scene depicts a 2nd NBB (Naval Beach Battalion) medical section on Utah beach in the hours following D-Day in 1944.

Great tribute to a group that kind of gets little recognition but were a big part of making the Invasion successful. Strong work and nicely done.

thank you again, actually I think it was right to pay homage also to those non-combatant troops, but who played an important role in the logistics and support for the landing. With the sculptor it was thus thought of figures that could still fit in dioramas to represent different units, with minimal changes.

No doubt about it, you have a knack for putting together some sharp looking vignettes (y)!!

Joe

Can only agree , tells a story and lovely presentation and artwork

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our JUNE FOTM comp and also vote in MAY's classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 running till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Thanks again mates.
Being a novelty of The Bodi, I hope to see many interpretations around, also considering that they lend themselves to different contexts.

Very nicely done!Love the attention to detail and the painting is great! Thanks for sharing your work!(y)
