I have been buying loads of acrylics sofar I don't seem to have much joy with them.
Practise makes perfect so they say. Oh well! Back to another model.

Hi Rod

I came into the painting figure side of this hobby only a few years ago, and luckily for me I was able to dive staight into using acrylics, all I can say is if your gonna use them, realy use them! I used to use Humbrols for AFV stuff I did a long time ago, so you can convert. My only advice is:

If you think the paint is mixed thin enough, then add one drip more of water. Because you can always bud up the colour if too thin, but you cant take the colour off without causing problems..

Rod, Nice job on a very colorful and tough uniform to paint. I am familiar with Humbrols. Man, you really did a nice job as they can be a bit difficult to work with at times. You gotta love the "NJ Butterflies" as they certainly wore one colorful uniform. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
