Yes the pelisse has been fixed in place. Shouldn’t present a problem…I hope.Hi Colin
A Like doesn’t seem enough so it’s aWOW! from me
Really enjoying the whole thread so far , interesting your painting the pelisse in situ ...or has it yet to be fixed in place ?
Look forward to seeing more

These paints are my first experience with gouache. I bought a sampler box set. Liquitex’s new gouache product is bottled. Similar to a watery acrylic with very fine pigment, decent coverage, and a good matte finish.Very nice, never considered using gouache before, I always thought it was quite fragile. Your sponge technique works really well.

Sounds good, a bit like the old Pelikan Plaque, or whoever it was spelt. These paints are my first experience with gouache. I bought a sampler box set. Liquitex’s new gouache product is bottled. Similar to a watery acrylic with very fine pigment, decent coverage, and a good matte finish.
Never used it so can’t comment. It mixes well with artist and hobby acrylics too. The colours are very vibrant.Sounds good, a bit like the old Pelikan Plaque, or whoever it was spelt.
