Great painting but personally, I do not like the asymmetric mounting. I think it detracts from the figure.
The way he is holding the rifle is unrealistic. Before assembly you could have cut the thumb off, glued the rifle in place and added a Milliput thumb. Not so hard. Otherwise a great piece of painting.

First of all, thank you Derelicte48! About the position of the figurine, I made this choice to emphasize even the small portion of rubble. About the hand holding the gun maybe you're right, it's not very natural...
