Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I have posted anything here on the planet.
but this is what I have been working on. I still have a bit left to go.

It is a converted Naked Army 1/6 cold cast figure.
The face was painted in oils and the uniform and webbing in acrylics and weathered in oils.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers Alan

G'day Al,

Brilliant work mate. The camoflague is superb and the face and hands are awesome. Difficult to see all the amazing details (such as the red roo and the flag patches) from this distance, but I know they're there.

The conversion work is subtle, but WOW what a difference.

Could we have some close ups please??

Very good finish

First time I have seen desert pattern 'hearts & bunnies' done.

A very impressive result. inspiring, given the size of the complete figure.

Another one of those "snap shots" of a moment in time.

Thanks for sharing

cheers

Alan fantastic result with this figure,i love these naked army figures ,do you know who the sculpter is ?

Steve

I've seen a few of these figures posted up by the Aussies now, and I must say they're blinding in their realism. I had a look at the Naked Army site www.na-int.com, but couldn't see who the sculptor was. Can anyone answer Steve's question cos' I'd love to know too.

Cheers,
Jon.

Thankyou gentlemen for your kind comments,Hope WA is treating you well Ben.Steve and Jonathon unfortunatley I don't know who the sculpture is who does the sculpting for Naked Army , all I know is that they are sensationally done and the realism and subject matter is what draws me to this company and its figures and my eyes aren't what they used to be, so the size I find challenging and the detail is second to none,I'll get some more close up of the finer detail in the next day or two.The conversion was only repositioning the head and building up the shamag on the right hand side.

Cheers
Alan

Morning mate,..
like how he looks brother,....like that sh..ty look on his face.Al..your next photos would you think about using a sandy buff colour back ground just to put him in context....
