Hello folks,
Another batch of minoatures i have order from Bulletproof.
These are the original figures, the Compagnies Franches de la Marine, they were present at the siege of Pondicherry along with Regiment Lally and it was the last engagement , after their defeat at the hands of the British.

These miniatures look extremely good even without any paint on.It is when you start performing your magic unto them that they transform into little gems.Well done Daniel.

Oda.

I have primed these fusiliers with Army painter color primer skeleton bone since i run out of my usual primer.
I will paint most of the coats in grey/white typical of these French uniforms at the tine, they did changed to whitw in 1760's .
The compagnies wore grey/white, but idecided to have few in warm white, the troops that were stationed in the colonies and especially India, because of the warm weather were issue some local fabrics, Nankeen was very common , some other kept their coats since coats had a 3 year wear for the infantry.
