Hi Daniel

Like the facing colour on this Regiment and here we have the stragglers both with different face features ..the one on the right looks very apprehensive about the next day or so on the battle field .

As always your uniform colours are going to look great

One question ..if you had to choose 1 reference book on the French uniforms ....which one ??

Thanks Kev, yes, your observation on that chap looks correct :)
As for the book reference, i would probably go with Osprey series.
Cheers

I have posted these conversion by mistake on another of my Threads , the Touraine Regiment.
These chaps are one continental Artillery man , converted to a French trooper in undress uniform, the other figure was a spare figurr of a french fusiilier in the regular coat, so, i've got rid of the coat and buillt up the sleeved waistcoat , added a spare head from Front Rank Figurines and sculpted the pokalem hat.

And i started the work on the whites!.
For the troussers and pokalem hat i've use a base color of the darkest tone of the Andrea white paint system with a dab of english uniform.
Adding a little bit of white to build up the color.
As for the sleeved vest, i am using a medium grey.
