WIP 42nd Highland (Black Watch), Waterloo

Hello,

I get the beautiful set in my hands, depicting the 42nd Highland regiment (Black Watch). It was attacked by the French cavalry during the Waterloo battle.

The figures are very good and now starting the paintingwork on it, especially the tartan colors.

Wonderful but too much for me, I’m afraid, both the price and, as Viking Bob says, “all that tartan.” It would cost me what little sanity I have left.

I have some reasonable pictures of the officers tunic on display in Balhousie Castle (RHQ of The Black Watch) if you are interested.

Also planning on doing this set, with a few added figures (once I have finished a few others...)
