54mm 18th C. furniture

I am in the process of finishing off a vignette centering on the Phoenix kit "the Chess Game" that I got in trade from Thomas Jefferies (PF member Grizzly) and now I am looking for some 18th century furniture in 54mm to help fill in the space. I've looked on line and at Micheals all too big. I have also checked out Custom Dioramics and Monroe Perdu and nothing. :angry: There are no doll house stores in my area anymore, I turn to you my fellow PF'ers. I'm looking for some chairs or tables or book case or the like. Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

Hey,I know that this is not the answer you were looking for,but I have to say it:Why not making something on your own?All you need is some metal leaf,some wire and epoxy putty!You make the "skelet" in metal,glue the metals together,build with putty,let it dry,correct any mistakes with a surgery scalpel and sandpaper,then add any details with putty...DONE!


I'm sure what you miss is courage,not talent!

Phoenix had quite a range of furniture of their own.

Call The Hussar (918)492-3559. Mike has(had) a mountain of old Phoenix kits. I bought several pieces at a swap-meet a couple of years ago.

I've been looking for Phoenix N01, N02 and N03 for over a year now. I callled Mike at the Hussar but he sold his a few years ago. The Soldiers Pac link is a GOLD MINE and I found all three figures as well as various furniture that Capt English may be able to use.

glad the link was helpful...Soldierpac IS very good and deserves support for bringing back all those figures from the mists of time.
Strange I have never seen them mentioned anywhere on the figure forums.

I tried the Golden Link, alas no furniture (that I saw) , but some great old figure that will come in handy with projects that are in the queue and even with the exchange rate well worth it. If worse comes to worse, and I cannot find what I am looking for I will try scratchbuilding what I need, but Georgian furniture is pretty facy stuff

Matthew, check the historical figures and start from the back. Then you should fine the furniture easily.

I just viewed this post and immediately called Mike at the Hussar; he is sure he has quite a bit of the furniture in question. Not everything from every series, but as John said, a lot.--

Bingo! I found what I was looking for and then some! Why didn't I find them earlier? I might still try my luck with the Hussar cuz they are here in the States, but at least I know where to turn.
