Hi All,

Here is my latest attempt. I was inspired by Jaume Ortiz's version and thought I would knock one out. This is an oldie but a goodie as figures go. Pretty well sculpted but closer to 1:35 than a 54MM.

A lot of challenges on this one with white and black and different variations.

As usual, all comments are welcome.

I initially thought that I was looking at a 90mm figure, the details are so good. The face is spot on. Well done Mike.(y)

this figure i've also painted. I agree with you its definetely not a 54mm it is less than 50mm, you've done an excellent work well done!

Great job, like others I thought it was a larger scale. Excellent flesh tones and superb handling of the Dress White tunic. The only criticism I would make is that you need to apply a coat of your favorite gloss medium to the visor of the peaked cap, the Sam Brown belt, the entire scabbard of the SS dress dagger, and of course the boots. I know that using gloss coat on a figure this small is dicey, but I'd give it a try. The only silver / aluminum colored pieces on this uniform that would have a matt finish would be the SS eagle on the peaked cap and the breast badge. Onther than that a high gloss on all leather and metal.

Again, great job!

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the critique. It' solid advice. I will take it and make the changes. I just have to decide which gloss medium to use. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Mike
