Almost done with the base for this figure. I finished up the stones on the column and painted the dirt. I need to do a little bit of work on the gate and then I'd like to add some grass on the base (mostly on the right side near the column) which will break up all that brown and tie in with the green on his coat. I'll probably add a few fallen leaves too just to further break up the brown of the ground. I primed his sword this morning, so I also hope to get that painted up quickly and attached.
Excellent work. I have been watching this one come to fruition, and it is superb. Remarkable talent. I can't do anywhere near that well with a 120mm figure, let alone 54mm. Congratulations.
Thanks, all. Well I've put the finishing touches on the base and then added and painted the sword/scabbard. Here's the final result. I hope you all like it and thanks for following along with this project!
As I said, it's realy cool paint and base work too. Precise and fine shading, great leather boots, awesome whites... And base is amazing. A Masterpiece, i think...
