More progress on the flag.
Still need to place the cross on the other side of the flag, i will have to sand the cross down since the strips cane a little "fat", moving forward.

Taking a good shape Daniel.
As you say a little sanding to thin it down a little.
Did you think about painting these details onto the flag?
From my polnt of view your painting skill is more than capable of doing this.
Just a thought.
Keep the good work my friend.
Cheers,
Keith

Hello folks, i painted the flag pole today.
I base it with citadel ochre, let it dry and brushed some vallejo smoke and wood grain mixed and watered, slowly build it up in layer to the desired color of the flag pole.
I added the cross o. The other side of the flag.
From now on i will be sanding that flad for a while before getting painted.
Cheers

Hi

great job, figure looks like very good.
The only things I don't understand why the putty for the cross center. It is an extra job and you will not have great advantages during the painting process.

I prefer to mask the center with some tape and paint

anyway you are doing a great job

Hi Ivo and thanks for weigh in.
Originally tough of using lead foil for the cross, i realize i run out of it and decided to try something that i've always want it to accomplished, thin strips of magic sculpt.
To me it is kind of a traini g and learning experience for use in future models when i have this idea of creating a coat.
It is extra work, time consuming, but at the same time learning experience.
Needless to say, i miss my lead foil hahaha.
Best regards

And more progress,
After smoothing out the edges and some areas, i applied self etching primer, it does not need primer but i think it helps in filling some imperfections and helps paint to adhere better
I am plannig a warm white palette for the flag and cross.
