I have finished the pants, used the base color ( scale 75 Navy Blue) , added black for shadows , for lights added vallejo grey blue.

I have finished the coat.
I added the straps for the Gorget, added the buttons at either end of it and paint it the strap as a red russian leather, but there was not real regulation that specify the material or color until pronably later in 1786.
I have finished the ponytail with bow.
For the coat i ja e used scale 75 Abyssal blue, added citadel fenris grey for the lights, this is a womderful combination for the kind of blue i want it to achieve, a dark blue uniform will fade into a greyish blue especialy in the wes tindies and caribbean, the elements definitely will fade these coats that way.
As for the shadows , i added black to the base color.
For the seams i've used vallejo Lutwaffe uniform WW2 which works great.
Next step will be the boots ...

My goodness ...those blues look great .....both individually and all together ...like your thinking ref the climate conditions and effect on clothing ...nice .

Fine lining on those seams as well

As Oda says .."a whole new life "

Going to be a cracking result
