Hi All,
This is set one consisting of five 54mm Zulu warriors. There will be a total of 5 sets, 25 Zulu's in total. The sets have been made to attack the Rorke's Drift diorama, but could be used in other vignettes or diorama's.
Zulu firing tower musket
Zulu raising shield to deflect blow at mealie bag wall
Zulu on the charge
Zulu shot in front of mealie bag wall going back over
Zulu dead on the ground
This set of 5 is £75 (£15 per figure) and they will only be sold in sets, not individually.
cheers

Hi Richie

Great to see the figures , cracking action poses

Going to be popular

Hope we see painted versions

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Hi Nap,
Thank you mate, well I can't find time to paint, just finding enough time to get these moving along.
cheers

I've got the book 'Zulu' by Ian Knight, along with the Osprey books, it gives a real insight to their army. Defeating them was no easy feat.

Hi Anthony,
It certainly wasn't and cost the British Goverment over £5.4 million pounds to do it and countless lives. If the Zulu's had not been so regimented and fought more of a guerila war using their knowledge of the land it might have been a totally different war.

You're right, Richie. I shouldn't have mounted the Rorke's Drift defenders set under a glass dome. The Zulus look terrific. Good job!
Rick

Hi Rick,
Thank you, I need to make a big push to get the others finished and in moulds. I have never read the washing of spears. Although ground breaking and inspirational in it's day, there are now better update versions with a lot of the errors rectified and new insights as more evidendence and first hand accounts have come to light. Usuthu!
cheers

Definitely will enhance the Rorkes drift diorama, glad to see you get these to market Richie, fine job mate.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks mate, other things kept getting in the way, mainly new figures. Thank you for contributing to this too, it's your tower musket that I bought.
Great bit of scultpting mate.
I will ring you in the next few days I want to commission to weapons off you if you are up for it.
cheers
Richie
