For the helmet base of Tamiya x19 grey(sprayed)then x34 metallic brown and x12 gold leaf 50/50 mix (sprayed).I then used a wash of GW Seraphim Sepia all over,I then highlighted all raised areas with GW golden griffon dry compound.I then lightly sprayed over this with Tamiya smoke(well thinned) to bring back a slight gloss.For the silver parts GW runefang steel then a light wash with GW nuln oil

The metals are really good and the tunic is possibly the best/ most realistic that I have seen.

A lovely job, this looks great, but just one minor observation, the collar should be dark green, not red.

Thanks for pointing that out Steve I wasn't fully sure so I went with red.I should of asked for more info here at PF.Ralph,

Your practise has paid dividends. Red is not a simple colour to work with.(IMHO), more so the highlighting. Now you must forgive my ignorance on this subject matter, but the helmet! is there a plume to be popped in there? as the mould would suggest that.

Yes they did have plumes! .. But it seems parade dress, over service dress! I would have thought, (being a Bust) this would have been included! Anyway its still very nice One hell of a beard though!!
