Completed 5th Dragoon

Mark, Ralph, et al - the bust represents a dragoon in campaign dress, as he would have appeared in the Charge of the Heavy Brigade at Balaclava, so has neither epaulettes or plume, as they were removed in the field.

I hope this clarifies the situation!

You did a great job on the 5th Dragoon! I can't wait to see what you do with the 38th Foot Inkerman. Steve (Valiant) has done a great job sculpting them. ...and Nap's reviews - WOW so much additional info (Thanks Nap for those excellent reviews). I hope you like the range.

For the red.a base coat of Vallejo flat red.Then using oils Daler Rowney Georgion.A base coat of scarlet lake. shading with alizarin crimson mixed with a tiny amount of black.Highlights were done using very tiny amounts of chrome yellow.
