Just started applying some paint to this little gem from Pegaso, still lots to do on the upper half. All Inscribe acrylics as usual.

Thank you Steve Walks

Thanks for the kind words everyone...much appreciated.

Ken... It's 75mm

marc ,housecarl...Never primed, each area gets a corresponding colour in two or three washes before applying the base coat...so it does get primed in a way.

el cid...here is a chart for my red mix on this figure, if you need any more info please let me know. It is all Inscribe acrylics by the way.

The Holly Berry and Pumpkin where used as the base colour mixed together in equal parts...this is the second block of colour on the spectrum from the left. The first shadow was the Holly Berry on its own then a little Thalo Green added to darken the shadow more...pure black is added to this shadow mix to give an extreme shadow, under the arms for example. The spectrum is obviously highlight starting on the left with the shadows moving to the right, ending with the extreme shadow on the far right.

The first patch on the left of the spectrum is the Pumkin added to the base colour for the first highlights...pure Pumpkin is added as an extreme highlight.

Great work Steve - I really like the reds and how you have captured the shadows and lights.

Thanks for sharing the method/mixes.
