Hi all

Just wanted to show you our new release from Ellie's Miniatures the figure was sculpted by Moz and we think he has done us proud. the thumb on the straight arm is going to be changed a little as we thought he looked like he was haling a taxi small job.

any thoughts welcome he will be going for casting later this week. we will take pre orders for those who wish to place one the price will be £32.00 P&P Inc.

Cheers

Ian

Looks very good and a nice change to see a French Crimean figure (other than a Chasseur d'Afrique bust I don't think I've seen any).

Hi guys just to say the figure was based on an illustration in the Book uniforms of the French Foreign Legion. a great book lots of good figures in it. just thought I would let you know where the inspiration came from. it was moz who put the idea to me and it turned out well.

cheers

Hi Adrian I have plans to do one from the Mexican adventure, he's legionnaire from the mounted squadron ( but will be on foot) he will have an Hussar type jacket. and one from WWI. so they are what we have in mind. but we have other projects first. any info on these two subjects would be great. I have quite a bit on the Mexican legionnaire but more is always welcome. and I have a some on the WWI looking at post 1916.

Cheers

Sounds great - I'll be up for them.

As for Info - I probably have the same reference books that you have concerning those periods.

I'll check out my library.
