It brings a whole new meaning to Cpl Jone's "they don't like it up 'em Capt Mainwaring"! That's a mean looking bayonet that I wouldn't like up anywhere!

Also, the vignette (the actual subject of this thread :)) is really great and very, very tempting.

You produce really amazing figures Gordon.

Great looking set Gordon. If I did already have your 54mm version, this one would be on my list for sure. Spot on about the bayonete BTW.

Nice to see a historical depiction rather than a Michael Caine "Hollywood" version (as much as I like the movie).

Thank you for the information, I stand corrected, I didnt know they were issued to NCOs in south africa, great figures, nice poses

Thank for the news, this is a very beautiful work ! We really feel the atmosphere of the situation and the characters are very expressive! Very beautiful sculpture!(y) Thank you for offering us so many beautiful creations! :D

Another great vignette......conveys the urgency of their situation. The yatagan style of bayonet is a nice touch: the Continental armies, French in particular, made great use of it. I've got one from the Franco-Prussian War, and it's easy to imagine it could be very effective

Hi Gordon,
Mate apologies to be late in on this one, don't know how I missed this being released. I agree with Steve and Alan, Adam has a way of interacting three figures to make the perfect little scene and convey urgency as he's done on your previous projects.
Really like Adam's work(y)
cheers
Richie
P.S. expect a phone call
