I have been working lately on finishing up several figures that I had in progress at the same time. Here is a 80mm Viking made by the now defunct Albion Miniatures.

How come I've only just noticed this??
I really like the combination of the Blue against the Creamy colour of the trousers on the Viking!
Years ago, when I was painting fantasy figures, there were a few colour combos I used regularly, and that's one of them!
I also like what you've done with the fur. Is that dry-brushed? all my attempts at fur never came out the way I wanted, but, again that was years ago on fantasy figures & on a much smaller scale (25mm)

Cheers

(y) Hi Simon,

Yes, the fir is drybrushed with pure white being used last around the edge. I usually start out with a base color and then do an acrylic wash. After drying start my drbrushing process ending in white as the last.

If I get all the figs I'm after for xmas (or preferably before!!!!), I'll be tackling fur again (older & wiser now though!) (y)
