Well Guys,
This is actually my first bust with oils just before the 101st A/B figure by Hensley. I was now in full oiler mode and away from enamels for good except for gear and weapons, etc. As you can see, the art of taking "OFF" the oil is where it's at, not just slappin it on.
So, you will notice the heavy brush marks on the face and places on the uniform, but still not overly noticeable if you stand back a bit, HA! This was also my first attempt ever at light colored uniforms, so you can tell it's a bit rough. But, we gotta start somewhere and his peaved look made it all worth the initial effort to dive face first into oils. Hope yall enjoy a bit of history from the model bunker.
