Opened up the WIP picture in gimp, took the line from chin to eye and extended the same distance upwards. That's where the crown should be (according to theory). Then the size of the head is about 176 pixels, the distance crown to ground about 1089 pixels. Closer to 1/6 than to the canonical 1/7. As long as he is standing straight and the photo is taken from sufficient distance, I think the angle shouldn't matter but if the photo is taken from very close, there will be distortion.
Halfway point is just below his waist band, so I think the legs are fine.
Awesome details on the figure, though!

Are you joking you use gimp to count pixels for accurate measurement. I don't want to hijack this thread.
It is a fantastic sculpt with all the details. PM me and I'll show you the correct way to do measurement.

Confucius says:
“The superior man acts before he speaks, and afterwards speaks according to his action.”
“He who knows all the answers has not been asked all the questions.”

I don’t think Henkm is ‘joking’ surely he is offering an opinion just as you are. How anyone comes to an opinion is what is right for them. To me it looks fine.

Anyway yellowcat, I suggest to buy that piece and you will not regret it, it's unique and you will not find it in the market after the 18th of March.

The solution would seem to be offering Felix his money back if it’s not as advertised..I am more troubled by the awkward finger position on right hand: the detail on this one is exquisite but there is a valid debate as to some aspects..which should be entirely fine on the forum within the spirit of improvement and critique.

"Joking" here is referred to gimp which is a free image editing software and has limited application vs photoshop which is a paid professional powerful software. To you it looks fine but not for me.

Hi Guys

As I said all have a individual opinion but irrespective of that this is a highly detailed and interesting figure and does as we have seen in this thread paint up well

Thanks to Christos for sharing the release

Happy benchtime

We are not all the same size, our heads are not all the same size, long legs, short bodies, short legs, long bodies, big feet, small feet.....

I remember seeing this and although it is not my normal period I could see it being a very popular piece and intended to order, I hope it has sold well for Christos, and now I bitterly regret missing it!

My dear friends!
The preordering process of General Theodoros Kolokotronis miniature has been completed with success, exceeding by far my expectations. The total number of copies is 139 limited edition pieces!
As we speak the process of casting is taking place, which is moving according to plan.
I sincerely thank you all !
