I wanna give a massive thanks to Maurice for all his work on this new 90mm figure now available from studiokch.com. 90mm private of the 95th foot Derbyshire regiment depicted descending the banks of the alma to make the crossing. Base included. Cheeeeeeers dudes Karen:wacky:

I hesitate to criticise an excellent figure from a great hand... but are we sure that Mine rifle is long enough ? They were about 55" overall, the same length as the preceding muskets, which came well up towards the average man's shoulder.
 
Hi Tony, I had originally made the minie rifle at 70mm long which would have just about been right for 90mm figure for a six foot bloke(which is tall for the day I know), the photos are of the master after I added about 5mm in at the waist of the figure, so your spot on ,its too short so you have a good eye:) . since then though I increased the rifle length by the same 5mm which makes it look in proportion again, I`ll get some more pictures of a casting later today.
sorry I shouldn`t really have given Karen photos of the master when it had been altered.
 
Tony I appreciate your comments and you were right afterall I`m a big fan of your 1:6th figures, to be honest its a major source of reference to me :)
 
I like the sculpt, like the way you have given him some animation, would be nice to put some paint on.
