At first sight this would be an interesting figure given the Victorian subject and period. Also the overall appearance with the greatcoat blowing in the wind reflects very well the hardship that the soldiers of the Crimean theatre had to endure. I really like about 75% of it with the underside of the greatcoat being the limit, however. I do not understand why the sculptor placed the legs at such a wide distance. This looks very unnatural, stiff and unbalanced and in combination with the musket's stock dangling into the air, and the left arm simply hanging down, spoils it completely for me.
I am truly sorry but from a customers viewpoint having so much choice with so many impeccable figures on the market these details really count.
