Hi.
Here's a couple of pics of my first "Proper" figure (I've been practising in 35th scale).
I chose the excellent 95th Rifleman from Imperial Gallery, as it seemed a reasonably easy target for a first go, plus the Napoleonic era appeals to me. I took my inpiration from the box art and references from the Osprey series of books.
Fashioned a "Bandana" from Milliput, as I didn't really like the heavy join between neck and shoulders, Rifle sling, and other straps, from Tamiya tape and wire for buckles. Paint is mostly Vallejo, W&N oils for the face/hands, and some Mig weathering pigments.
On the whole I'm quite pleased with the outcome, I know I need some more practise, but I've certainly been bitten by the figure painting bug.
