Well here it is finished. I really am pleased to have it under my belt and hope to do another one someday soon. I would first like to thank Paul Clark from Shenandoah Miniatures, with out his help and support I would not have been able to get it done. I also would have gotten this done a little sooner if Gary D. had not been telling me all the things I could change or add! Thanks Gary! Thanks for looking.

Joe

Joe, Great job. I may have suggested a few changes here and there, but it would still be a work in progress if you were to still be making additions.

At first I thought there were too few Union soldiers in the scene. I think doing it that way really helps to show that they're breaking with the Confederates getting the upper hand. The spacing of the figures is good too, suggesting more off of the base. Good luck at the show. ~Gary

PS, You know the 9th Va will (did) lose their flag at Gettysburg. :)

Brilliant work my friend. I like the action, the poses , and the total setting brings dynamics to the scene. It also motivates me to start one project i have been planning for some years now, but will also take me some years to finish .....

Congratulations my friend

Really nice work Joe. I have, like everyone else, been following your progress and it has been fun to see it grow and modify as you went along. I hope you do well with the diorama. I wish I was there in Chicago with you guys as well. Maybe next year.

If anything is missing it might be some disgarded equipment on the ground, i.e. rifles, headgear (from the two casualties on the ground). A little "eye candy" does not hurt and casualties and fleeing troops tend to leave dropped/lost equipment in their wake. ~Gary
