Hello friends,
this is my new scratch figure.

The subject represent the young Russian General " Alexander Alexeevich Tuchkov"
in the Borodino battle 7 September 1812.
He with a banner in his hands led his regiment into the bayonet attack under the enemy shot-cases and was killed in this attack.

If someone give me suggest for improve my work, I accepted with pleasure.
I hope you like.

Sorry for my English.

Maurizio

Maurizio, Very nice. The only thing I would suggest you do to improve your work is to continue sculpting. Not that I find anything wrong with this figure.. If you have other work to show, please do.~Gary

Maurizio that's a lovely piece of sculpt. I love the subject... I can't wait to see him painted.

Very nice work Maurizio !

I like the choice of the head, looks very good for the situation.

I don't want to be disrespectful so I want to carefully point out a few areas which you could improve in my humble opinion.

The epaulette fringes don't look right to me. I think you can do them better, maybe check some of Pegasos or Metal Modeles officers epaulettes. Hard to describe, they look wrong to me. The upper hard parts are well done.

The other thing is I am not sure if the body weight is on the left or right foot but this might be because of the pictures angles. Maybe its totally right on the model.

To balance this critic I have to say I like the bicorne with the detail and feathers a lot. Also the jacket skirts and their pockets are very nice !

And if I show some of my sculpting work you have full rights to shoot me down in flames too
