I'd like to share with you this picture with the original and my figure
Hi Ivo,
Your figure is an absolute masterpiece of work and is very close to the painting by Gericult.
I think that the two really cannot be compared with each other though.
I have always liked the Gericult painting from the first time I saw it in a book of Napoleonic Military Paintings. When I visited the
Musée du Louvre, Paris I was so in awe of the painting it took my breath away. At thee and a half metres tall an two and a half metres width it is truely awesome.
Whilst I have been greatly impressed by the great pieces that the Guys here sculpt and paint I have never had this emotion from looking at very good miniatures.
Keep up your fine work and I hope that you can see my point as no detriment to your super work.
Best wishes,
Keith
Hi Ivo,Keith
For sure compare a 2D and a 3d is absolutely dangerous... I agree annoy be compared
But I like try these ambitious project. I'm quite satisfied of the result
Thanks in any case for the comment
Hi Ivo,
I think that you have missed my point but never mind that save to say that it was in no way a comment on your work.
I would be over the moon if I had reached your great level of artistry. For me you are a master at this 3D art and I have admired all of your pieces.

Really not a problem my friend.Keith
Pardon I've to apologize for my poor English
I tried to wrote "cannot be compared" agreeing with you but sorted annoy .... Automatic correction and forgotten glasses
As inspiration, the Géricault painting can’t be bettered but I find Ivo’s interpretation of the action it portrays more credible from a 21st. Century point-of-view. In short, I think it’s bloody marvellous!

What else can I add? Another Ivo Preda masterpiece! Vous etes mon peinteur favorite dans tout le monde! I knew the painting represented Lieutenant Dieudonne but I had no idea that he and Gericault were friends.I completely agree. I love 54mm mounted Napoleonics, and I love to see you take the famous paintings and bring them to 3D. I am in awe of your great work, and look forward to every new venture you take. What's next?
