Richie, Carl, thanks for looking in.
I made a start on the face today. I'm using acrylics as this is for someone else. I didn't think it a good idea to be experimenting with oils when it's for someone else.

I agree, soft work, but I like more contrast on faces, specially when they are big like this. What you think Roger?

Thanks Eduardo, hmmm I know what you mean but as this isn't my usual thing I don't know whether to go for more contrast or not.

Looks pretty good for me...

If You want, you can mix to your skintone some "foreign" colors, like a bit violet at the cheeks and some dark green to it for the temples. It works!

Thanks Martin, I've set it aside until tomorrow and will have another look then. If I make any changes it will be just gradually..... just in case.
