Since when did common sense come into play regarding uniform colours etc, when I joined in the 80’s gloss black and green was still being used, not to mention ankle boots and puttees.if troops on the ground had ever been listened to things would have been different a lot I’m sure!! This isn’t a dig, I’m really liking how this is looking, being an ex Fusilier I’m not biased

Now on the other hand the battlefield tactic of repeatedly marching one's troops through no man's land into barbed wire entanglements while all the while being under murderous machine gun and artillery fire does not exactly qualify one for the Albert Einstein award. ; ) Thanks, Jed.

Oooooh love that one Busty - I might need to raid the piggy bank . . . .

Bloody cold today, eh mate....
Almost done, just a little touch up then mount him to his base and a wood pedestal. If you decide to do this guy (and you really should, he's lots of fun) be sure to attach the leather pouch on his right before you glue his right arm in place - I didn't of course - or you'll have to cut and paste to get it into place.

Nap, you're right, figure all touched up. And the bust is available directly from Model Cellar.

nice one Rick, love the texture of the gloves, and the addition of the snow. What did you use for the snow?

Thanks, Henk. The snow is from Woodland Scenics which I had laying around the shop from an old, unfinished Z gauge railroad layout (best laid plans of mice and men and all that).
