A happy reunion with a figure

When I packed it all in last year, I thought I had thrown out all my unpainted or just started figures. While searching for something this morning I came across this chap

Sergeant Grenadier Guards Crimea 1854 Elan13



This was the first military bust I bought ages ago and he has been so badly painted and stripped soon many times. The painting when I found him was appalling so he has been stripped again and primed with Vallejo grey ready to try AGAIN!

I am so happy this survived the slaughter.

I need to get 'Can you hear me Mother' too.

You can't beat a Crimean figure/ bust even if it is a Grenadier unless of course its two figures/busts.
