Anybody know of a decent model horse standing about 180mm at the shoulder? Looking for one to tack up for a 200mm Polish lancer.

I have a few from "Horsing Around" but they are of Traditional scale and look to be nearer 1/8th.

I may go to Toys R Us if I'm desperate and modify a toy.

Google word search on "180mm horse" brings up this with cross to e-Bay Japan.
Takeya formula horse 180mm on e-Bay Japan now but not cheap! "Cool Japan Select Shop".

Hello Dan

If only it were that easy. It has to be about 180mm at the shoulder and standing. The nearest I have is a Lusitano (sold as an Andalusian) which is about 1/8.

Have you had a look at the Bryer horses they are available on e-bay, I am sure they have a 1/9 scale range which might be suitable.

I made some enquiries a few days ago about Bryer. With a small bit of work they can look good and the size looks about right. Against a typical Mitches Military figure you are looking about 16 HH. On the large dude but may work. You can even get the correct type of horse!
