More or less! June is finished, so is Linjo Models'm Qing Dinasty Woman. A pleasure to work with. Painting is a mixing of oils and acrylics. Hope you find she refreshing... (Wolfs beware! Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, is watching you and protecting her...)

An acrylic Matt varnish coat or two over the skin should take out the shinyness. I get the same problem sometimes and this will work.

I'm thinking of giving her a free beauty parlour session... after all this heat she maybe needs it!

To kill the shine I use Windsor & Newton Artisits Matt Varnish. It's made for oils. But make sure the paint is cured before applying. On a painting with a thicker application of paint you need to wait up to a year. On thinly coated items like a miniature, a couple of months is good.

Thanks, pals! :) I'll take care of her following your indications, Roland. As for the tassels, Joe, they come with the kit. They only need a little of water-diluted white glue to stay straight and even.
