I went outside at 8pm last night & banged a saucepan with a steel ladle for 10 minutes to show my support, as the husband of an NHS worker, & to wake up all the other miserable sods in the street who didn’t even bother to show up.
Mind you, there were more clapping than at the same time last week, when we were the only ones in the street.
For next week’s ovation I’m going to buy a wooden football/gas alarm rattle!
