It's been a while, but I finally have some new work in progess stuff, I'd like to show you.
It's a small (32mm) Fantasy-Amazone from Darksword Miniatures.
I have painted the skin and some details so far.
But see for yourself:
Hopefully I find some time tonight to continue with her.
Well, no one complains, so I guess I am on the right path.
So I did a big leap closer to the finishingline, last night:
Though she looks quite rough on the photos, its all a bit smoother in reality. Those closeups and macros are killing my art, all the time.
After all, she's just around 30mm tall.
Thank you, Guy!
I wasn't sure about the leather.
Whether to highlight the folds a bit again, or not.
It may be too much for that scale.
And drybrusing would just look absolutely inappropriate.
Nice work Dirk!!
I think it are the pictures but the flesh looks a bit odd to me.
When you look at the shadows there seems to be dark spots.
I looked at other work on your webpage and there the flesh tones looked good to me. (You have some very nice work on there!!)
Keep posting your progress.
