Hello Fellow Planeteers,
For my first Historex conversion, I am modelling a Fusilier of the Irish Regiment Dillon
in British Service in Saint-Domingue 1793/1796. Dillon's was originally part of the French Royal Irish Legion, they surrendered to the British and entered British Service. They wore their French uniforms plus items donated by the British. I intend to make my model with a French musket, working on the basis that a small island like Saint -
Domingue would not have a huge arsenal so they would keep the weapons they were familiar with, but on saying this I could be totally wrong. 1000004091 (1) (1).jpg

For my second figure, I am modelling a Fusilier of the Legion de Mirabeau. The legion was one of the French emigre regiments that fought all over Europe in the 1790's the figure I1000004101.jpg am modelling was in the service of the Prince of Conde.

For my third and final figure I am modelling a Drummer of the French
Regiment de la Reine serving in Canada 1755/1760. Like my others these are just the basic dollies that require more than a little embellishment.

Many thanks for your reply. I have so many figures in my minds eye that the manufacturers have never tackled. So now that I have more time on my hands I hope to remedy this for my own and hopefully others pleasure.
